We don’t know if anyone will actually read this but we thought we should probably talk about it here so it’s official. If you’ve seen the Guild MOTD since we stopped raiding for the expansion you’ll have seen a note about Kris and I moving away from Stormscale back to our original Silvermoon/Alliance roots.
We had a fantastic time with all of you - we were only together for a short time but it felt like longer. This wasn’t an easy decision for us but ultimately we decided that raiding would be more fun for us on a PvE server, and we already had an established presence over on Silvermoon.
If anyone is interested in moving to Silvermoon, please do get in touch - these forums will remain online for some time so you can PM either of us here, or drop me an email at email@example.com. Our plans aren’t final for WoD yet - we’re hoping to restart an old guild of ours but things are still in motion.
For those of you sticking around Stormscale, Brad and James are starting their own guild up. Their website is: http://sanctorum.wowlaunch.com/ and bnet contacts are:
James - Lefthand#2984
Bradley - ibrad#2957
We’re sorry we couldn’t bring Menkeys back for WoD - we just didn’t feel we could do it proper justice. See you guys around!
Don’t die, scrubs.
Dan & Kris.

Very sadly Menkeys will be suspending our raiding operations for the summer - until Warlords of Draenor is released.
We made some fantastic progress during our time - we went from a small group of randoms we found in LFR to some real legitimate heroic kills - and we did did that all in only a few short months.
Sadly all good things must come to an end, and over the last few weeks we’ve started seeing the familiar signs of burnout - not only in our raiders but in ourselves as well.
At the end of the last 25 man raid Kris and I announced that we were stepping down from raid management - comp creation, recruitment etc. We are both very busy in real life and we didn’t feel we had the energy to be as effective as we would like. During the course of that evening we made a decision to see if it was viable for the guild to carry on raiding with a 10 man team. However, that didn’t work out as well as any of us hoped it would and we’ve been forced to make the very difficult decision to stop here.
I know this will seem to have come as a surprise to a lot of you - but this has been coming for a while, and while we had sincerely hoped things could be different, we just don't think its right to continue raiding as a guild at this point. We know many of you will wish to continue raiding, and of course that’s fine - anyone who wishes to continue raiding after hearing this news is welcome to do so either here or in another guild and will be welcome back when WoD hits.
FInally Kris and I want to apologize for the uncertainty of the last week - it was never our intention to cause drama. The decisions we made in the last week, in retrospect, we wrong. We can’t take those choices back, so all we can do now is say sorry.
But to bring this back to a high note, we are honestly so happy and proud to have raided with each any every one of you - the last few months has been a blast. We’ve made some great progress, had some great times, and we hope - made some great friends. We will return stronger than ever in Draenor.
Menkeys 4 life.
Don’t die scrubs,
Kris & Dan

After a hard fought and bloody campaign, Garrosh is finally dead on normal difficulty. We've been working on normal progression for around 5 weeks now, and after a 5% wipe last lockout, we finally got him down. Nerd screams and all.
What started as an idea Kris and I had earlier this year has turned in to something neither of us expected, and certainly not this quickly! The dedication and performance from all of the raid team has been fantastic during this progression push - we've killed new bosses each week, and broken records every time we've killed a boss for a second time.
But we're not done yet! Oh no. This is where the hard work really begins, because while Garrosh might be dead on normal, on heroic he's alive and well.
Watch out Garrosh, the menkeys are coming for you. Again.
